3D printed car interior parts – clips, trims, holders

Clips, trims, covers and holders for the inside of your car, made to fit from a photo and measurements.

The short answer

We make interior, non-safety car parts: trim clips, covers, caps, holders, organisers and cup holder adapters. Send a photo and measurements and we design the part, then print it in PETG, or ASA for parts that sit in direct sun. Simple parts are £15–£35 incl. design. We don't make anything a car's safety depends on.

What we make for car interiors

  • Trim clips and panel fasteners for door cards, boot liners, carpets and parcel shelves.
  • Covers and caps: blanking plates for empty switch holes, screw covers, seat rail end caps, cubby lids.
  • Catches and handles for storage: glovebox and armrest catches, cubby hinges and lid stays.
  • Holders and mounts: phone, sunglasses, coin, card and parking-ticket holders.
  • Organisers: glovebox, centre console and door pocket inserts, boot dividers.
  • Cup holder adapters, made to your cup holder and your bottle. These are a ready-made product you size online:

What we won't make for cars

We only make interior parts that a car's safety doesn't depend on. We won't make:

  • Anything to do with brakes, steering or suspension.
  • Seat belts and their fittings, seats and seat mounts, and child seat parts.
  • Airbags, or any trim that covers an airbag or sits where one opens: the steering wheel centre, dashboard airbag panels, and pillar or roof trims over curtain airbags.
  • Lights, lenses and reflectors, number plates and mirrors.
  • Structural or load-bearing parts, and anything in the engine bay, fuel or exhaust system.
  • Anything needed to pass an MOT.

How we describe what a part fits

We describe parts by the car they fit, for example "glovebox catch, fits [your model and year]". We never print a car maker's badge, logo or emblem, and our parts aren't official or approved by the manufacturer. We copy how a part works, not a brand's look.

Heat: why we print car parts in PETG or ASA

A parked car in summer gets far hotter inside than the air outside, and the dashboard and rear shelf get hottest of all.

  • PLA softens at about 50 °C, so we don't use it for car parts.
  • PETG copes with about 70 °C. It's our default for interior parts out of direct sun: door pockets, console, boot and glovebox.
  • ASA, on request, copes with about 95 °C and strong sunlight. Ask for it for parts on top of the dashboard, on the rear shelf or near the windscreen.

Questions

Can you 3D print car parts?

Yes, for interior parts that a car's safety doesn't depend on: clips, trims, covers, holders, organisers and cup holder adapters. We don't make brake, steering, seat belt, airbag, seat, lighting or structural parts.

Will a 3D printed part survive a hot car?

In PETG, yes, for parts out of direct sun. For anything on the dashboard, the rear shelf or near the windscreen, we print in ASA, which copes with more heat and sunlight. We don't use PLA in cars.

Can you match my interior colour?

We print in the colours we stock. Black, greys and some beiges get close to most interiors, but we can't promise an exact match to a factory colour or texture.

Can you copy a part that has a logo on it?

We'll copy the shape and how it works, and leave the logo off.

Are your parts official replacements?

No. They're made-to-fit parts, not manufacturer parts, and they aren't approved by the car maker.
